President

Scott grew up in Fargo, North Dakota, before moving with his family to the Lake Park, Minnesota area. After graduating from Lake Park High School, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Moorhead State University and later completed a Master’s Degree through Tri-College University.

Scott began his career in education as a teacher and coach in South Dakota and Minnesota, serving in those roles for 10 years before transitioning into school leadership. He then served as a high school principal in Fulda and Benson, Minnesota, for 5 years. Scott has served as a superintendent of schools for 20 of the past 22 years, including the past 4 years in Minneota. He also worked as a Business Consultant and Regional Business Development Director for SitelogIQ for 2 years.

Scott and his wife, Allison, who serves as Associate Athletic Director at Southwest Minnesota State University, are proud parents of two children, Logan (7) and Jordan (3). Outside of work, Scott enjoys fishing, cooking, and officiating and umpiring high school sports.

Vice-President

Brittany grew up in Arlington and Ivanhoe, Minnesota. She graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. While working at SMSU she received her Master’s Degree in Teaching, Learning and Leadership. Brittany taught kindergarten for 7 years and currently teaches 2nd grade at Marshall Public Schools. She is married to Luke and they share their home with their fur daughter, Tweetie. Outside of school Brittany is usually volunteering, reading, outside or traveling! 

Secretary  

Tracy grew up in Clear Lake, SD and graduated from Dakota State University in Madison, SD with a Bachelor's degree in Education.  She has worked as a special education teacher for 24 years with 21 of those years in the Marshall Public Schools.  She is married to her husband James and they have two children: Gavin and Logan.  Outside of school, she serves on many committees, enjoys attending her children’s activities (football, swimming, band, etc.), enjoys spending time at the pool or lake, and walking outdoors. 

Treasurer

Mark Andree serves as the council Treasurer and has been a member of St. Stephen since 2016. Originally from southwest Minnesota, he earned their degree from SMSU.  Mark has had a 20-year career managing in both mortgage finance and healthcare business office. Outside of his professional life, Mark spends most of his free time with his family, living with his wife and children in Marshall, MN.

Bill grew up in Menahga, MN and went to Brainerd Community College where he received an Associate of Arts Degree, and completed college at SMSU where he received a Bachelors Degree in Management and Business Finance.  Bill and Sue have been members of St. Stephen since 2004.  He has worked the past 30 years in manufacturing, with most recent he is the Plant Manager for UFP Industries.  In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, singing, but most of all spending time with his family (most of the time cheering on his children at sporting events and activities).  Bill has been married to Sue for 24 years and they have two children Andrew and Kelsey.

Hi, I’m Jason. My family and I have been members of St. Stephen since 2012, and this church has been an important part of our lives and our community. I’ve lived and served in this area for many years, and I’m honored to be part of the church council. My wife, Angela, and I have three children — Kalli (24), Kaitlyn (21), and Keagen (19) and we also share our home with our dog, Roxy. I recently retired from the Minnesota Army National Guard after 33 years of service, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue serving my community in a different way. When I’m not working or volunteering, I enjoy fishing and have been known to play a game or two of cribbage. My goal is simple: to support our church, strengthen our connections, and help create a welcoming place where people feel valued and cared for. I’m excited to work alongside all of you as we continue building a strong and vibrant church family.

My name is Stuart Kirchner, better known as Stu.  I'm a self-employed carpenter/ tile guy. When I'm not working, I'm chasing my daughters, Haylee and Elsie with all of their activities.  By my side, in all the chaos is my wonderful wife, Sarah.

My name is Jessica Coil I'm a stay-at-home mom of 3, Ruby, Jaden, Jasper. I've been married 17 years. My life is crazy busy with sports throughout the year, and as a family we enjoy family vacations such as Disney world. All my kids think that I am the best mom ever.

Youth Member

Sydney is a junior at Marshall High School where she is a member of the girls basketball team, FCA and Link Crew. Outside of school she enjoys playing AAU basketball, being outside and spending time with family and friends.
