We like each child to serve 4-5 times (or more). Advent & Lenten services are opportunities also. You will receive a reminder email on Monday before the Sunday you serve.
Light the altar & baptism candles 5-10 minutes before service starts, help with communion distribution (collect cups) and extinguish the candles after service. Help with sound board (mute & unmute the pulpit mic for the lector).
Advance the worship slides from the corner computer at the sound / video table. No phones or electronics of any kind, no food, just follow along with worship. 1 person can sit with you to help if you want. Please go with your family or the sound/video table group at the end for communion.
Read the prayer of the day, alternate with Pastor Austin for the prayers of intercession. Slides will be sent in advance to review and a binder with the printed slides is in the sacristy. Help with communion distribution if needed. Sit in front pew under TVs.
For Video - operate LiveStream - it's a simple video program (if the adults can do it, the kids will be pros!).
2-3 families are scheduled to serve the meal each Wednesday night. You can swap dates with another family, just let the office know. You will receive an email reminder the week before you serve. Please have the meal ready n5:30pm as kids will start eating as they arrive (5and then we pray a return of thanks at 5:50pm. Plates, silverware, napkins, cups & juice mix are located in the confirmation cupboard. Please stay to clean up after the meal (kitchen & tables). CLICK HERE for the meal schedule.

We ask each family for $75 per student to cover confirmation meals for the year. Please either send a check with to confirmation (or bring one in and give to a huddle leader), or you can drop it off on Sundays or any time at the church office.

Each Confirmation Huddle will be hosting / serving coffee & treats during fellowship hour one Sunday during the year.

Registration is due October 1st for the Confirmation Retreat at Shetek Lutheran Ministries on March 14-15th, 2025. CLICK HERE to register with Shetek using the group code: Stephenconfirm NOTE: All 8th grade students are expected to attend (the church pays for this event as part of confirmation).
On Sunday, Sept. 15th during 10:30am worship service we will present the 6th grade students with their Confirmation Bible. These Bibles will be kept at church for them to use throughout Confirmation and then they will be given to the students to take home as they are Confirmed in 8th grade.
Registration is due September 18th for the Jr. High Youth Gathering in Willmar on November 22nd-23rd. CLICK HERE for the registration form.
Sale runs 9/18 - 10/2. All order forms & money must be turned in to the office on Wednesday, Oct. 2nd. Butter Braids must be picked up from the church on Wednesday, Oct. 16th.

All of our confirmation huddles participate in Trunk or Treat from 5pm - 7pm on Oct. 31st in the church parking lot.
